I got the CE version. The story is new - not the same as the original Nutcracker story, though it has some similarities. I'm surprised Big Fish didn't save it for the Christmas game. I wonder what they're going to release on Christmas.

I bought it, have played maybe 1/3rd, I am saving the rest for Christmas eve......Unless they release another good game as tomorrows game.

Well, they didn't have a special Christmas game -- only a rerelease of a CE as an SE. Maybe they'd been planning a game and found it needed additional testing.

I searched the announcement of Nutcracker for the sole purpose of adding, nearly three years after the release, that this is the best casual game I have ever played. Despite the cutesy factor, all elements--puzzles included--show the highest production values and attention to detail I have thus far seen.

Yikes! Only 14 weeks?

The Nutcracker game is indeed nearly three years old, but I wouldn't be surprised if another game in the Christmas Stories series is released this December.
