Amazon $2.99 games and recommendations?

Amazon $2.99 games and recommendations? - 02/26/13 11:25 PM

First, can anyone tell me if the Samantha Swift games are mostly HOG?
If anyone has scrolled through the wonderful array of $2.99 games on Amazon can you recommend something that has very little hidden objects'
Also for anyone that's looking for Secret Files 3 you can get it for $8.23 after applying the 25% discount code.

Thanks,
Terri

Yes, the Samantha Swift games are mostly HOG.

I haven't looked at the list of games that are selling for $2.99, but I will take a look. wave

Can anyone tell me if The Legend of Crystal Valley has a lot of h/objects?
Also, how about the Women's Murder Club games, Mystery Stories (Mountains of Madness), Deadtime Stories. Last but not least, Dream Chronicles. I played the first one years ago but can't remember much about it except the graphics was so beautifully done, bright colors.
I have bought a few of the games from Amazon and need to finish up tomorrow 02/28.
I would appreciate any input on the games. Not a HOG fan.
Thanks,
Terri

The Legend of Crystal Valley has no hidden object scenes and the Dream Chronicles series of games do not have any either.

The Women's Murder Club games, Mystery Stories: Mountains of Madness, and Deadtime Stories all have some hidden object scenes. I'm not a big HOG fan either, but all of these games were fun. wave

Marian. I see you played Dark Arcana. Was it heavy on hidden object?

Hi Terri, it's been a while since I played the game, but I would say that Dark Arcana had an average number of hidden object scenes. I do remember that the hidden object scenes were pretty nice and clear. wave

Terri, every game has a thread here and many of them have comments regarding how many HOS and such. You can see Dark Arcana here.

From each thread here it also has a link to the BF webpage for that game and the reviews on BF give lots of details. It's really hard to remember each game when there is a new one released each day. lol

I agree Ana. I had checked on Big Fish, Amazon and also searched it here on GB. Did not find the answer I was looking for. Thanks, I'll check elsewhere, hopefully I can find the answer.

When I clicked on the link here to the BF download page and click on reviews under the title of the game, the reviews are quite detailed. Are you looking here?

It says how you can switch from HOS to a card game if you want etc. There is a ton of info there.

Yes. I had seen this. I was looking for one last game to purchase before Amazon's sale ends. Might get this one, still not sure.
Thanks,
Terri

Sorry, I thought all the detailed member reviews on that page would help.
