Vampire Mansion A Linda Hyde Mystery

Has anyone played this? I'm stuck and have not found a walkthrough.
Don't know if there is a "chapter" to say where in the game, but I'm in a bedroom upstairs where there is a suitcase that won't open. If I click on "hint" the suitcase sparkles so that is what I would do next. In the inventory there is a key that doesn't work on the suitcase, and a set of car keys. and other things that don't do anything.
Any ideas??
