What a great game more of an adventure than a HO. Not many HOS at all. I didn't think it was scarry.

WOW I can't get over how great this game is. Started act 2,don't know how many acts there are. You're going to love this game Ana & Marian. I would have paid full price for this game but I got it on sale. I think I found 2 or 4 HO. Been playing for about three hrs. Great game Bernie. You can't pass this one up. Map is a great help to. Hints recharge pretty fast. Enough for now. Let me know what you think of it.

This is the best game I have played in ages!
I've played on and off all day and still have only started 5 of 7 chapters and then there still is a bonus game to play. It's not as scary as Scratches (a bit reminiscent of), but thankfully it is much more adventure than h.o. game. Sooo many locations, things to do and items to use! I agree with Richard that this is not a game to pass up and applaud these "new to me" developers on a job well done!

This game is without a doubt the best HOG(of this type,scary) I have ever played and I have played some very good HOG's recently, Shadow Shelter is a good example. This game may not scare everyone, but it has scared me several times. LadyCav mentioned Scratches, which scared me as did Barrow Hill. I sincerely hope to see more from this developer and I hope they are the same type.

OH MY GOSH! This game is amazing. Super spooky with lots of areas to explore. Thanks to fellow GB's for great reviews. So glad I bought this one. Hearkens back to some of the adventure games Implayed before discovering IHOG's.

The game is great. It really is one of the top three casual games i ever played.
But it was not clear to me that it is the first part of a triology.
So sad that i have to wait for the second part!
And than for the third part.

In the part of the demo I played, there was a book called Mystery Valley next to the sink in the kitchen. This is actually an earlier game from this developer that was released a few years ago on Big Fish. The reference to the previous game made me smile.

I have to wonder if the number of HO scenes is dependent on the difficulty level. I've found that there are a lot of HO scenes. They are evenly balanced with the overall gameplay though - not one right after another. I'm surprised that others have commented that the HO scenes are sparse. I've been using the map quite a bit to determine active areas. Maybe it seems like more HO scenes this way since I'm not spending as much time wandering about.

Oh no! Didn't mean to talk anyone out of buying the game. It's a great game. Those who regularly play IHOG's will be delighted - unless you don't like scary and dark themes.

I'm so disappointed. I was very much enjoying this game until tonight when I tried to play a bit more. I got a message that the data is corrupted and I have to start over. From what I've read on BFG, this is something others have also experienced and it may continue to happen. I was about half way through the game so starting over will not be easy.

Just finished playing the CE of this game. I like "scary, creepy" games. Before I read other people's comments, was going to ask (or complain) that the ending didn't explain what had happened. Glad to know there will be sequels to hopefully explain things.

Yes, apparently there will be more games in this series and thus the ending was not concluded. Although somewhat disappointing, most people don't seem to mind too much, as they enjoyed the game and are looking forward to the next one.

After receiving the corrupted profile message, I decided that I liked this game enough to start over again. I made it past the point where I previously was but, alas, I got the same message. Not willing to start again. Hopefully, the next game in the series won't have the same problems and, since I have read that there really wasn't an ending, I'll be able to jump in without too much difficulty. I did contact BF and await their reply.

THe WT is included with the game. All CE's have a built in guide. The guide will be released as a WT when the game becomes an SE.
