Has anyone had trouble downloading this game? Bought it, and it's taking forever to finish. Even rebooted and tried again - same thing. Thanks.

Sometimes games take longer during the download, when you get to the point where it starts to install, because the game is unpacking files. I noticed with this game that the size of the game when installed is considerably larger than the download file size mentioned; the download says the file is 641 MB, but the game takes up 1660 MB of hard drive space. Don't know if this is your problem or not, but I thought I would mention it. If it seems to get "stuck" during the installation stage, I would wait awhile and see what happens.

Thanks Marian. I left my computer on all night (of course it does "sleep" after one hour), and it's only about 70% done! Thanks for the info.

Wow, it shouldn't take *that* long. I was talking about maybe taking an extra minute or two during installation. That's very odd and I have no idea why your download is so slow.

If it was me I would cancel and start over. It may be going through a bad server somewhere along the line. Try the speedtest to see how your speed is here.

BrownEyedTigre: Thanks; I tried it. Got download speed of 22.99 mbps and 1.87 for upload.
BTW: I finally rebooted my computer and it's working well now. Also emptied trash and other caches.

Just wanted to make a comment regarding this game. Is it my imagination, or does the hero's mother sound like the voice of Nancy Drew trying to sound British? Not a bad job, but does still sound like her! Thanks.

Lani Minella (the voice of Nancy Drew) does indeed do voice overs for this game; her name is listed in the credits. She has done voice overs for over 500 different computer games, video games, etc., and lately I have been hearing her voice in many more casual games. I have heard her voice in some casual strategy games, some Eipix games, and several others.

I recognized her voice in this game right away. In fact, I think she may even be doing the voice work for more than one character in the game.
