Hi.

If I'm not in the right place, please move me

I have the Candy Crush games installed to my ancient iPad and they all played flawlessly until a Candy Crush "update" last week.
Since then the games constantly crash when loading.

There's plenty on the web about it - all of which I've read - but because of the constant references to "playing via Facebook" I contacted King Support direct.

Unfortunately the only reply I got from them was "auto advice" which was ALSO full of references to Facebook

I have never used Facebook and don't intend to start now. But I just wondered if any Gameboomers play these games on their iPads without being Facebook participants and whether they had found a solution to the crashing ??

Sorry Mad, I don't play the game, but I am on FaceBook. I looked on their facebook page and their isn't any help on there.

I've never used Facebook to play Candy Crush, but I don't play on an iPad. I do play on my PC and Kindle and haven't encountered any issues with crashing on either. I hope that you find a solution to your problem.

Or, more sensibly, an update to fix the update

Well, there's been another update but it hasn't fixed the "crash on launch" problem.

I launched the game 5 times and was able to play once
