BFG e-mail notifications

I haven't been receiving the e-mail notifications of the daily new games and TGT. I do receive the offers for the bundle sales associated with new games. Anyone else? Since I'm hooked on BFG, I do go to the Home Page for the news. But wonder why the e-mail notifications haven't been coming. And yes, I do wait a while and recheck my e-mail later in the day. I'm accustomed to getting these notifications early in the morning though.

Sparkle...When I first became a Big Fish member, the emails came regularly...2 a day. Then they stopped coming. I notified Big Fish, but they were no help in this instance. Now they're coming again but somewhat sporadically. Some days I get the Daily Game Splash and other days not. Guess "daily" is a relative term.

I've been a Game Club member for years. It's just recently that the notifications aren't coming. Hoping to hear from others since it could be a matter related to my e-mail provider.

I hadn't really thought about it, but now that you mention it, I no longer get Big Fish emails every day. Some days I get emails and on other days I do not.

Do you happen to have Yahoo for your e-mail, Marian?

Yes I do, as a matter of fact. I have another email address too, but BF email notifications go to the Yahoo address.

I don't use Yahoo as my email address and I also no longer get Email notifications from BF except when I buy games or contact them for support, maybe it is another Cost Cutting measure?

But then again, now that I think about it, maybe I did not register for the daily mail, I am so confused and maybe that is all the mail I did get in the past. Sorry about the confusion....

That gave me an idea, starcom. I went to the website and signed up again for the newsletter. We'll see if that solves the issue.

Sparkle...I signed up for the emails multiple times, thinking the same as you, but it made no difference in my case. BTW I use my internet provider for my email through Microsoft Outlook. I suspect like Starcom it may be a purposeful decision on the part of BFG to cut back on emails.

I haven't been getting them regularly either.

Nothing yet and it's a sale day. 😟 I guess I'll just have to get accustomed to checking the website every day.

sparkle click the sign up for newsletter, then in your email, you get confirm your newsletter link, that is how i did it.

I get notifications all the time.. got one today...resign up for the newsletter that might help

I did that, family. Have been signed up for the newsletter for years.

Just got e-mail notification about 65% off sale, but not the usual notification of today's new game or Tomorrow's Game Today.

winfrey: I also resigned up for the newsletter again yesterday. Will see if anything happens in the next couple of days.

Update: Re-signed for newsletter and still not gettting the regular notifications. Going to try to get an answer from BFG.

"The daily newsletters were on a temporary hiatus, and are in the process of going back out once more. We apologize for any inconvenience that may have caused.
At this time, our PC / Mac Game Splash newsletters and the newsletters for Big Fish Casino and Jackpot Magic Slots are active once more. We hope to be able to offer you all of our newsletters again soon.

Many emails are not being sent from various locations because of the new ant-spam laws that took effect May 28th. YOu may have noticed an increase in requests to approve getting emails from places.

New GDPR regulations on emails.
