I've been notified that there is a sale on right now - but the Whispered Secrets game doesn't seem to be included.

Yes, unfortunately it would be considered one of the "new releases excluded." So far it seems like a new game drops off the exclusion list within one to two weeks after its release, so not too long to have to wait.

I have seen several people complaining about this "new releases excluded" business during sales. I am only surprised that this was not implemented a long time ago. I always wondered how a developer would feel about seeing their brand new game discounted two to seven days later; I would think that would not be to their liking at all. I always felt like it was selling new games short, but maybe the volume of sales made up for it - that, I don't know.

Anyway, I don't mind waiting a bit longer and I know you don't either, Mad.

I just picked up this game today during the one-day sale - you might want to check it out.

It says "recent releases excluded," but both this and the latest Do Games release were showing the discount.
