Assassin's Creed: Revelation

I'm in the 'Lost & found' sequence in a memory (6 I believe) where I'm in some cistern, looking for keys that some guards posses. For full sync, the game asks you not to get detected. I usually get detected because I unlock nearby chests & don't kill everyone. I wanted to ask whether these chests contain anything special like some rewards or just money & items like bombs & knives. If it's these items, then I can just forget a few chests & move on.

Hugh, I haven't played this but from
Googling it looks like it's just money etc. However, if you want full completion you need to unlock them (according to what I read).

Hopefully someone who has played the game will have more specific information for you.

Most chests in AC games just contain money, don't they?
