NWN 2: Baldur's Gate: Reloaded Mod Released at NWN Nexus - 06/06/13 01:38 PM

This mod is made by af teamn called BGR Team. Apparently, it has taken 7 years to make. The team has no connetions to Bioware, Interplay or Atari or Obsidian Entertainment.

You can get this mod from NWN2 Nexus. You want to download it, please go here.

They also have released a - great - teaser trailer, please go here:

From watching the trailer, I find this to be a great piece of work and well worth a try - if you have NWN2, Mask of the Betrayer and Storm of Zehir.

A word from the BGR Team:

Quote:
IMPORTANT: Please purchase the original game before downloading Baldur's Gate: Reloaded! It's important to support the original developers and publishers of this great game and other related ones. Please see the "LINKS" section for more details. Baldur's Gate: Reloaded is a fan-made tribute to and complete remake of Baldur's Gate (1998), orginally developed by BioWare and published by Interplay Enterainment, for Neverwinter Nights 2. This campaign features both the entire original campaign and its expansion, Tales of the Sword Coast. NOTE: Baldur's Gate: Reloaded requires that you have both Mask of the Betrayer and Storm of Zehir expansion packs installed.

I like that they ask you to buy the original games as well wink .

I've bookmarked the link. Thank you, Karsten. I have NWN2 and all the expansions, but have only played a couple of hours of the game. I need to get back to it. (So many games; so little time!)

I also have Baldur's Gate and BG2 with all expansions, and enjoyed playing them all. I played the original game using the Tutu mode offered by the Pocket Plane Group. It basically allowed you to play BG using BG2's more updated engine.

It would be fun to revisit that great story!
