The downloads are compatible with Win XP, Vista, 7 & 8, install just fine, and play just fine. I highly recommend this. That good savegame editor is also still available if anyone wants or needs that. Personally, I wouldn't play without it unless I had to.

I love this game! I have the box version, but unable to play because I have Win 7. Is GOG a safe and reliable site for downloading games? I ask because it is something I don't do.

Lindy, I haven't used GoG, but many GameBoomers have and have been pleased with it.

GOG is probably the best place to download games from. They are very reliable and have great customer service.
