I don't think many GameBoomers members play The Sims, but thought I'd post this just in case anyone was interested.
Until July 31, Origin is giving away The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection to anyone who wants it. This is a digital copy of the Sims 2 game and all the expansions and stuff packs. EA will not be providing support for the disc version of Sims 2 anymore, just the digital copies. Sims 2 is the older version. Sims 3 is current, and Sims 4 is scheduled to come out in September. But many, many "simmers" love Sims 2 and even prefer it. Sims 2 is from 2004-2010.
The only thing you need to do to get this free bundle is sign up for Origin if you don't have an account, go to redeem a code and put in I-LOVE-THE-SIMS. This code will be available for redemption until July 31st, 2014 at 10AM PDT.
