New game ideas wanted

New game ideas wanted - 07/20/15 05:17 PM

I just finished Diablo III and Fable III, and am looking for an idea which game to go to next. I have a reasonably fast Win 7 setup and would like to stay in the same Genre, any suggestions?

welcome to GameBoomers, LarrytheK. One of our mods can move your post to the Darkside forum, where we have a lot of role playing gamers who can give you some great suggestions.

I would suggest:

Witcher 3
Skyrim
Dragon Age Inquisition

If you've never played any of the Elder Scrolls games you could start also with Morrowind.

Likewise for Witcher 1 and Dragon Age there is Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age II.

I'd recommend Divine Divinity (if you haven't played it already, of course).

You can get it here from GOG.

Thanks "oldman", Witcher and Skyrim are a little dark for me, but I will check out Dragon Age.

"Marion" moving the post to the Darkside would be great! Thanks for the help.

Beyond Divinity offers a lot of dungeon action.
It reminded me of "early" Diablo and I very much enjoyed the game laugh

In a similar genre, if you haven't played the Dungeon Siege games, they might work for you -- nothing too serious, just non-stop forward movement and action, lots of loot, and graphics that were amazing in their day. Also Sacred, if you haven't played it. I played that for ages and loved it. I`m not sure about Sacred II -- I have it but never fired it up.

Hey Larrythek wave

Are you looking for more hack and slash style with linear gameplay or would you also be interested in sandbox, non-linear play with more complex story lines?
