Done that for a few games. Baldur's Gate II and Thief 2 come to mind. Got at least three copies of each.

I agree Hagatha. I also have both the original and the ultima edition, but it is a great deal for any who have not already purchased it.

I, too, have more than one version of a few RPGs but my really "BAD" multiple versions are of Adventures

I used to do this in the days of cd or dvd copies of games that could get scratched or lost.

But I confess I sometimes buy a game on GOG or Steam without checking to see if I already bought it on the other site.

Well, in the end, several copies can only be better that NONE
