Prayers for Greg and family please

Susie told me yesterday that her brother-in-law, Vince's brother Greg has been given 3 weeks to live. He will be going on a feeding tube tomorrow and put on hospice. Greg has ALS. He communicates by texting and doesn't know how long he will be able to do this. Please keep Greg and the family in your thoughts and prayers.

Thanks to all of you. I told Susie last night that I started a thread for Greg here and she was very pleased. Will show it to her the next time she is over.

Bets such sad news. My prayers go out to Greg and his family.

The info I was given back in May turned out to be wrong.

I talked to Susie today and she said that Greg was put on hospice yesterday and by his request, food is now being withheld. He wants to make it through to next weekend so he can play poker with his brothers and Dad one more time. Then he said he will be ready to go.

Please keep the family in your prayers. It is almost over. May God bless and keep him.

So sorry for everyone. My brother in law did the same 'refuse to eat' thing on his choice. He went peacefully. Made us all very sad but it was his decision to go that way. Prayers for everyone for strength in a very hard time.

This just makes me want to cry. But thankfully, he is being given the opportunity to make his own end of life decisions. It has to give him a great deal of peace. My sympathies to Greg and your family.

Just to let you all know, Greg passed away this afternoon. My heart goes out to all the family.

Susan got off work early and came over. Stayed till Vince was on his way home. Will talk more with her tomorrow.
