Baby's First Doctor Visit
This made me laugh out loud. I hope it will give you a smile!
A woman and a baby were in the doctor's examining room, waiting for the doctor to come in for the baby's first exam.
The doctor arrived, and examined the baby, checked his weight, and being a little concerned, asked if the baby was breast-fed or bottle-fed.
'Breast-fed,' she replied..
'Well, strip down to your waist,' the doctor ordered.
She did He pinched her nipples, pressed, kneaded, and rubbed both breasts for a while in a very professional and detailed examination.
Motioning to her to get dressed, the doctor said, 'No wonder this baby is
underweight. You don't have any milk.'
I know,' she said, 'I'm his Grandma,
But I'm glad I came.

Re: Whump Day - 10/03/12 05:05 PM

What a morning. Went to Wally World, got home, and discovered I was missing a bag of stuff. Had to go back and get it. Geez, I hate those carousel thingies that hold the plastic bags. Thought the checker had put all the bags in my cart while I was paying. That is the second time that has happened. Next time will twirl the thingie around and check all the bags. Now, my big question is.... where did I start? lol

It is so nice out. Shirt sleeve weather.

I'm home for the rest of the day. Uh-oh, just looked at the time. Time to get lunch ready.

Re: Whump Day - 10/03/12 06:52 PM

L4L, I do that too -sometimes reading can put you back to sleep. Once I started playing Oblivion at 4AM and by 10AM the cats were beating me up for their breakfast -I never stopped playing.

The new Doom will be out in 20 days....hurry!! Then the next milestone is Killzone 4 then play station 4 thenthenthen...Can one take her playstation to heaven with her?

Lovely October weather. Cool nights warm days. It's supposed to be in the 90's in a few days.

My 3 daughters have joined an organization and they raid the bad puppy mills. How exciting. When a raid is planned they hop on a plane and get wherever and raid. And it's a good cause. I knew my daughters are Vikings.

Enjoy the day and hit those games

Re: Whump Day - 10/03/12 07:44 PM

Not much sleep last night. Shadow started not feeling well at 1am and we were up and out every hour after that. Lack of sleep and the rainy day gave me a headache that I am trying to get rid of.

Sue, glad to see you here but sorry you are under the weather. Chamomile tea and chicken soup in the corner for you.

Haroula, I'm sorry you need another round of meds. Don't forget to take probiotics especially if you are taking antibiotics.

Gerry, have a great day.

Gail, I hope you are able to help Sherlock and WAtson today. lol

Sharon, have fun zipping around today in your rental. yay

Connie, have fun at Costco. They have added so many new healthy options lately, I am really loving it!

Nan, it's a rainy day here so no park run. Zumba was great though even with my pounding head.
Still unsure if I am heading to the corner or not.

Darlene, hope you are having a good day.

Bets, I hate going back to the store because you left something. Send heat my way. I am not ready for this fall weather.

L4L, I hope the rest of day goes smoothly for you.

Yankee, how wonderful of your daughters to do that. You raised them right!

I decided it was a great day for cooking since it's a steady rain out there. I made a large pan of chicken parmesan and whole grain pasta. Sam and her fiance decided to come down and join us for dinner also with my grandpuppies. It will be a full house here!

Sweet dreams Haroula.

SpaceQ, are you doing a park run?

Hi guys. I had a day off today. I decided to go see my Mom and spend some time with her. It's getting very hard for me. She can't say what's on her mind anymore. I have to figure out what she means. sad It breaks my heart. She has a very sweet roommate. I did get to see my aunt (her sister) while I was there. I left there feeling very sad that I'm losing my Mom.

Hope your day was good. It's Shell"s birthday today. I know she doesn't stop in at GB's much anymore. I just wanted to wish her a very birthday anyway.

See you tomorrow. Night everyone.
