how much more can one family take?

i found out today that my 16 yr granddaughter (the sister to the one that lives with us) tried to commit suicide this morning. the reasoning was she wanted to see her dad again. her and her dad got into a big fight a year ago thanksgiving and she told him to f off and wiahed he was dead. this because he wouldn't let her boyfriend at the time come stay with them during that thanksgiving vacation. my family is just falling apart it seems. but they got her to the hospital and is on the way to another one to get some help.

Oh My, my10. I am so sorry.
There will need to be a time of healing in your family, you have all been through so much.

thank you ana. i knew by coming here would help. between her mom having chemo and that ordeal with their dad a few weeks ago sure has made it a had thing to handle.so far the one living here is doing good. really hated telling her this eveing what had happened. she knew someething ws wrong when i had her come to the kitchen

thought i would let you know i talked to granddaughter for a little this evening and she sounded good. then let her and her sister visit. they need each other more than anything right now. guesss they got her on some meds that are helping . not usre how long she has to stay but as long as she is getting the help she needs thats good

want to let everyone know that granddaughter got to go home yesterday. thank you all for the thoughts and prayers . i surely hope nothing like this ever happens again and she will stay on the right track of life
