Sara Lee makes a frozen mincemeat pie. Not sure if it tastes good, not a fan of mince.

Thanks Ana. Unfortunately I don't drive and that's out of my brothers driving range. However, it gives me hope that I may be able to find a bakery closer who makes them. I meant to check out Baker's Square to see if they do and forgot.

Sorta, they are not to be found around here anymore. My brother has looked for the last couple of years.

I saw online that I can order some tartlets or something but....
Or I can order a jar of filling and make a pie. Don't know if Dominick's/Jewel has the filling or not; Peapod (where I used to shop) doesn't.

I don't know where you are in Chicago, but you can try Dinkels on Lincoln ave.

I'm near Elmwood Park. I looked on Dinkels website and didn't see Mince BUT I do see it on Baker's Square and that's pretty close so I'm sending my brother there. He's really the one who wants it. I might have a small piece.

Thanks again!

Haven't had that in more years than I can remember. I do remember mom making one for Thanksgiving and it was delicious.
