Late already.

It never fails....except when it does.

My day starts early at 8:30 & I'll spring out of bed (actually I roll over to one side and push myself up).

I need to rush and get done with breakfast by 9:30-10:00, but no later than 11:00.

My day will be a hectic non-stop run and play with Baby, (walk and play mostly), and head hunting.

I usually cut such a laborious day short to conserve muscle tone and energy, but I feel good today, and I imagine I'll go at it hard until at least 3:00pm.

I'm sure by the time I hit the sack, at the late late hour of 7:00 tonight I'll be feeling every one of the strenuous activities of my day right down to the cells of my iron poor tired blood.

I hope your day is no where near the level of tiresome activity as I have planned.

Daughter woke me up early this morning. We don't usually have a phone in the bedroom, but one was left in there surprising both daughter and I when I actually answered this early.

Well, I'm off today. It's cold here, even with the heat on. Think I'll wrap up in my electric blanket and play a game. I was planning on playing The Cave, but it looks like they pushed it back a day, so I'll have to find something else to play. I just finished Tale of a Hero yesterday, which was great.

Suddenly clouded over just now. Was sunny and bright and promising to be about 75-80 again and now clouds. Weird.

Sidewalk work continues. More cement being poured. Good sign that more of the street will be done today. As for ME, I got yelled at yesterday by one of the workers. I walked too close to a sewer drain pit they had dug and he yelled at me to 'get away from there!". I must have jumped or reacted because then he said, "I'm sorry, it's dangerous and the road is undercut and you could get hurt." Well at least it was a partial apology. The area wasn't roped off, no workers guarding it, I had to go aroudn there because the sidewalk was blocked with their huge 'boards' and stuff. Hummmm. Today I'll be more careful. Don't like getting yelled at. As for the 'undercutting' that was strange, because they were letting cars drive right by that pit without stopping them. Oh well, guess they have a job to do, but this guy is always in a bad mood anyway.

How is your toe Ana? I seriously injured my big toe chasing Tiah when she was a puppy. She had something awful in her mouth and didn't want to give it up and I ran barefooted into the unrelenting, heavy coffee table. I think I shove half of my toe into my foot and it has never been right since. I couldn't walk for about three weeks but hopped.

Took the morning walk and inspected the sidewalk progress. Stayed strictly on the sidewalk that they had finished and found that they nicely had moved all the junk off of it. Stood across the street from the 'hole' and voila, the guy who yelled at me came up the ladder out of it. I motioned and smiled and said, "I'm being careful", and he made another attempt at repairing his harsh words from yesterday. He even smiled when I said it was a missed opportunity to push me in and cover me with cement. Ha. Was funny. All better now. I think we are on good terms again. Hate having workers (who are real people too) getting upset with us (the ignorant residents). All too much fuss for nothing. Maybe tomorrow I will creep in a little closer.

Went to thrift store, found a nice 300 piece puzzle (I like the bigger pieces). Gonna keep me busy for a day. Found a nice Akademiks brand new T-shirt for my neighbor friend and made him buy it. It's my continuation of the Christmas gifts plot of NEW unspotted, unratty, unholy shirts for him. He's looking better. Now if I can just get him to throw away all the ratty ones I will have succeeded in my plan. No reason to wear dirty torn clothes unless you are working on some yukky project and plan to throw them away later.

Well time to get ready and then head out with the taxi!!

Lotus Sassy is very, very good at holding it. Sometimes I have to get her out grom under the covers on the bed so I can take her out. She would miss it if she couldnt go out. I too have a friend that does use the pads.

The components of the lasagna are cooked, and holy moly that sauce is good. Now just have to wait for hubby to bring home the ricotta and mozzarella. Kitchen is cleaned up and laundry is running.

Son is doing a great job on the bed. He has been much more helpful lately Don't know if he is coming out of being depressed or just finally getting to that last bit of maturity that we've been waiting for. Either way, I'm happy.

Now it's time to sit for a bit. My back is talking to me.

L4L every 6 or 7 weeks my Mom gets evaluated to see how she's doing, if she has any issues, currently she has a UTI infection but she's on antibiotics for it, and that's about the only thing that's out of the ordinary. My Mother is in good shape, accept her mood swings. If she gets excited about something I can't calm her down. It's a sad situation.

Midgy, it is very hard. We went through 3 years of that with my dad and many years with hubby's. Don't forget to take care of you in the midst of all this.
