prayers please

well i have seen how gameboomer prayers work by reading each of everyones . and here i am again asking for such . i found out today that my 15 yr granddaughter that i haven't seen in over a yr is and was admitted to the hospital with an enlarged heart and possible congestive heart failure. i did go by her mothers house today and got to see her , her sister and brother. i was surprised that my mother gave me any information about what was going on since my mother and daughter hae been enstranged. but my daughter did send me a message and said they will be doing lab work tonight and do some other test tomorrow. thank you everyone

i am sitting here with tears running down my face as i type this. they are talking about flying my granddaughter to denver , something about her heart not working right, oxygen level not good and also talking about a heart transplant. this isn't the news i wanted to hear or tell anyone

they did sedate granddaughter and put in a central line to give her meds to help her heart to stay working.

ok i just got an update, daughter gets to fly out to denver with granddaughter on a small plane

i got a text at 4:12 my time and they made it to denver and got granddaughter settled in. daughter was going to try and get some sleep before the drs started coming in.

a small update is that they want to do a mri and a heart cath and change her pic line.

ok latest is they will do the mri , heart cath and change her pic line in the morning. they couldn't get her into the mri today. and this way they won't have to sedate her anymore than needed. i am going to bed early , got a major headache tonight. for those that have me on fb i have a link set up for the gift shop that cheer cards can be sent to her . her name is brooklyn hall. thank you everyone so much for all the thoughts and prayers

just got word they are taking granddaughter back now for test. daughter was told that she may come back with a breathing tube in because of how relaxed her heart will be from the anesthesia. it is going to be a long morning of testing

ok here is an update on granddaughter, she is basically in heart failure, they are going to wean her off the meds that the one hospital gave her tuesday nght to help her heart keep working. they are going to try oral heart meds . she won't be able to take her adhd meds but they are going to try her on a new med for her asbergers and bi-polar. the heart transplant isn't out of the guestion yet.
also she still has the breathing machine tube in and they will take it out before she fully wakes up. they want her to wake up on her own
We won't be able to start medication for atleast another week depending how she tolerates everything. forgot they also did a biopsy so maybe we can find out what caused this

So much to handle for such a young girl. How are her spirits?

so far ok. daughter was amazed at the response of all the cards that has been sent. granddaughter was still asleep when she called me , at the time they were changing her pic line. i will get to talk to granddaughter later if she feels up to it.also daughter said that an old case manager of granddaughter has taken up donations at the learning center she use to go to

Aw My10....HUGS!!!! That sure is a lot for one to have to go through. Prayers that all will be fine in time for her.

just got word granddaughter is awake from anesthesia, off ventilator , doing good. she is still very tired but doing great

Oh Rugs, that's good news. Sending more healing prayers and huge hugs for you and your whole family. I'm guessing you're not getting much sleep. Try and take a nap now and then. And don't forget to eat something. You need to keep your strength up.

a small update. they ar hoping to wean her off some meds starting today to get her ready for the oral heart meds and alos hopefully move her out of icu tomorrow so she can move around a little more than she is getting too. poor baby is getting tired of being poked and prodded

guess granddaughter had a bumpy night. her o2 and respirations would increase then drop setting off her machines. she did get to walk around for a little last night. daughter is waiting on the dr to come in now as i type and i will let you know more later

I hope that can stabilize her My10. Must be very frustrating and scary for you all.

well they have started weaning her off the iv meds and are going to start the oral meds tomorrow. daughter said she is looking pale again

They started her on low dose of enalipril. thank you so much , i just wish i could go out there but i wouldn't do very good waiting in a hospital

well granddaughter was going to be moved out of icu today but her lab work wasn't where they wanted it at. so one more night in icu and will do lab again in about 4 to 6hrs and increase the enalipril

Hoping for the best.

ggot another update. dr just came in and said granddaughter sounds really good and gonna start a beta blocker in a couple days and plus cardiac rehab. and by the end of the week maybe they can go stay in the ronald mc donald house

this was taken today, she had a walk, shower and into regular clothes. got a little winded and had to have some oxygen but looks good

here is todays update from daughter



Well they did another echo gram this morning to recheck her heart function but as long as everything keeps progressing like it is we will probably be out hospital an into a Ronald McDonald house by end of the week. Keep praying —.she will probably have be on oxygen at night when she sleeps cuz she has some sleep apnea but they don't think she will keep cpap on as long as she has o2 on she does ok. They are gonna try n get a sleep study done before we leave

Hope to keep hearing that she is improving.

Well Brooklyn Hall echo gram yesterday didn't show any changes which is good an bad. We was hoping for little more heart function but it hasn't gotten worse. She is at least maintaining. They started couple new meds today an still plan on sending us to Ronald McDonald house at the end of the week

well had some great news this morning. should be out of the hospital and into the ronald mcdonald house by this weekend and possible headed home next weekend




update they are checked out of the hospital and staying at the roanld mcdonald house and hopefull getting to come home next weeked

got news today that they get to come home today. daughter said that the echo gram they did on the ekg showed some improvement. i have been on pins and needles all day. thank you everyone for all the prayers. we still need them

Great news! Prayers of healing continue for you and your family!

i want to thank you all again for all the prayers for this 15yr granddaughter. after she got released on wed the 6th, her mom's boyfriend and the other 2 kids made a trip to denver that evening to get them. well they took their time coming home to enjoy some sights and spend quality time together. they made it home on friday and all is going great so far and the meds must be doing their job. granddaughter got to go back to school yesterday.i haven't made it in there to see her yet. trying to give them all time to settle back down after this almost month ordeal..
