Thank you!!! Very fascinating!! Have been wondering if this morning's "meteor" hit in Russia could have been a chunk from this asteroid?? Probably a silly thought...

Thanks MaG, that is too cool! My house just got done shaking from the military escort for Obama's arrival. They fly directly over my house everytime and it rattles my windows. lol

Thank you Ana, I just got done watching the live stream. Very interesting stuff. Just glad we aren't in Russia and sad for those affected this morning...scary! Also good that your house stopped shaking.... eek!!!

I did a search on my computer for adobe flash but all I found was adobe reader. I installed flash now. Thank you both. I just saw it on the news.

The link works just fine for me. It's not live anymore because the event is over, but you can watch the prerecorded video on there. I am using google chrome browser.

NASA & SPACE.COM have lots of images & scientific info...

...but the pictures and sounds from personal & fixed cameras (& that get posted to YouTube), tell a better story about how it must have felt. shocked
