Got a text from Susie. She went by the Breast Center and the path report looked good. She will get a final report from her doctor.

Our orchestra conductor cut rehearsal a few minutes short last night. Said his wife was diagnosed with breast cancer and she had an appointment with the doctor today. He wanted to get home to her.

It started raining about the time we got out last night and ended up with an inch of rain. Still some snow on the ground but boy what a soggy mess it is out there.

Got some chicken out for dinner tonight. Shake and Bake time again.

Guess I'll go play something for a little while then do my first round of treadmill.

Lovely winter day cold (50's) but sunny and almost cloudless.

Schemer is on my lap and makes posting most difficult as he is the most affectionate cat I've had - a real lush. His coat is thicker and softer and he has recovered quite well from his humileating operation. And right now he's purring up a storm.

Might try some games today besides zuma and ricochet.

Because of this nsaid I have to eat breakfast - what a chore as I haven't eaten that for several years now. But the meds are working, oh happy day. Also I can't take aspirin with it but still can take turmeric. That's fine. But the best thing is -the games didn't cause it.

Another lovely day here except for the wake up call of heavy machinery and those back up beepers at 7 am sharp. Road work continues. Yesterday the chopped up all the old asphalt and then smoothed out the road to let the residents drive back in for the night. Very very few did. I advised my neighbors across the street to be very careful. When we were told it was OK to drive in, a ton of people got stuck in the soft dirt and then it rained and there were tow trucks galore. What a mess.

This time no rain predicted, all seems to be going OK. Only 3 cars in front of my house this morning, and they seem to be leaving slowly.

STILL no sightings of my drug dealer, boytoy of the drunk lady guy or his car. I'm thinking he's either in jail or left her? Hope it's one or the other and he's not just on a vacation somewhere. Love to 'clean up the apartments' of all icky people, but then again, the all seem to be icky. I'm positive it's a halfway house now. Never advertises a room for rent, mostly single males who get 'visitors' like once a week, and after staying a month or two, they are suddenly gone. What a weird place!

Off for a walk in my NEW Coogie brand satin, embroidered, red and black and gold 'track jacket'. Yesterday's thrift store find. Oh so gorgeous. Gonna be the talk of the construction crew.

Wow what a day so far. I couldn't download my jigsaw nor any games from Big Fish. I won't boar you all with all that I did but the last one worked. I uninstalled my internet security and then reinstalled it. Walla.....everything works and the games even downloaded faster then before.

I've been thinking of doing a 5K in May in the Twin Cities with my neice. Neither of us has done that but there is no stop watch so all we have to do is finish. Soooo if it takes me all day, no matter.

Hey Nan go for that 5K. My 1st race was the Tulsa Run-might have been a 10K. I was routenly running 5 miles but never the Tulsa run milage. Anyway a lady from Bartlesville and I ran together which was good because she quit easily and I tend to start and go faster and faster then drop. I kept her going and she slowed me down -goodgoodgood. toward nthe end I looked back and all I could see was a lady in a wheelchair and an overweight kid. But we finished and got our tee shirt!!!

Whoa, couldn't get here this morning. Not sure what was up as I could get everywhere else, but GB would not load.

Had fun at the dentist.....not! Now recovering with a late cup of coffee.

Hello Boomies! Busy AM here. Went for groceries early. Came home and vacced...dogs are blowing coat big time. Oh Spring, could you be waiting right around the corner? Now waiting for the internet guy to bring newer modem and router so we will have higher speeds. Faster, always must have faster!! I hope all in the path of the storms are safe and warm. Snowing like crazy here with high winds which makes it lovely to look at while I work and thankful I am not stuck in travel. Hubbys work closed at 2 and he is still trying to get home.
