Terrific Tuesday ya'll puppy

It's a beautiful day in Al. I'm doing laundry and getting ready to gear us all up and get out for a walk.

Skywalker has pulled all the hair out of a spot on his side. I'm watching it and we shall see if we need to get to the vet.

This evening we will hopefully get in to the Per's soccer game and then zap from there to Bible Study. At some point before that, I will most likey toss some spices at our books and see what happens.

Back later wave

Hi Everyboomie!
It's HOT! 103F today. Yuck. Wish I could send it up northeast!
Puppy's doing fine! Will get to bring him home around the end of this month. He's a little over a month old now. I posted a pic of him on FB but don't know how to get it here.
Been doing a lot of reading and staying inside during the day. I have a long summer ahead I know.
Looking for a part-time job, or work from home job, so some positive thoughts would be much appreciated! thanks
Andrea wave

L4L, could it be from stress because of all the extra people and dogs you had in your house last weekend?

Joe, I agree 100%! I hide in the summer here. All windows and doors are closed and the a/c runs 24/7. Fresh air is unheard of. Can't wait for October. If I was a millionaire, I would have a summer home in WA or OR also!

Re: Day After the End - 05/15/13 01:25 AM

6:00 am. Get up and feed Indoorsie Bubba a small can of wet food. 7:30 am, get up and step in something 'wet'. Turn on lights and see Bubba has upchucked his breakfast in the bathroom AND the hall, AND the spare bedroom, AND the living room, AND the dining room, AND the kitchen. And not only has he managed to spew that all over, he obviously hadn't been to the litter box for his daily 'dump' so wherever I found wet food, I found the 'other' stinky stuff. AND I managed to step in some of it, tracking it over where I already cleaned it up.

You can see how my day started. Waaaaa. Bubba is just fine, I found out he loved the Turkey and Gravy flavor food and consequently ate the ENTIRE can. He has always munched about 1/3 of a c an and left the rest which I put out for the Outdoorsies later.

So Bubba is now limited to a tiny amount of wet canned food until I can trust him again to not pig out. He's never done this before. Always eats just enough. Guess it was the hot weather or the yummy smell or...

Spent a full hour cleaning and deodorizing all the rooms (carpet and hardwood). Later, I fought ants in the kitchen sink (were coming DOWN from the roof?) And then again in the living room on my coffee table where they were mysteriously appearing. Finally tracked them back across the entire room to behind my security TV's and found they had convoyed up one of the cables and into the house, down the cabinet and across the rug and up the table leg. Gotta give them credit for finding that route to try to score some Junior Mints. They never had a chance.

So I'm pooped, sore, paranoid of stepping in something else tomorrow morning. It was a wonderful day. rotfl catrub

Eeek Sorta, that is so not a fun way to start the day.

Andrea, I think he may have gotten a tick which I didn't find and he pulled it out as there is a small wound in the middle. I could be wrong of course so will be watching it.

103....double eek!
