my icon

I don't know where to ask this question but I recently messed up and deleted my icon photo on photobucket. I have been trying to replace it and have it down to 60 pixels square but when I try to use it in my profile page I keep getting a message wrong type picture. It is a JPG picture and it should be small enough.

I guess my question is: How do I get an icon that I like on my profile?

Can you email it to me and I'll look?

Gil, I left it as a .jpg, but I used the link on photobucket that says "direct" and I copied and pasted that into the "url to avatar" line of oldman's profile and then selected submit. That's it. There was nothing wrong with the image it was likely using the incorrect link.
