RL Stuff I wanted to share

Hi everyone. Today's the first time I've ever posted in this section of GB, but I wanted to stick my head in and let the members who know me that the reason I haven't been around the site for several months is that my RL got very crazy and well, pretty painful too, so I haven't been doing much on the computer except playing and replaying Skyrim lately.

My husband and I got separated in June, and then I moved home to the state where my family lives soon afterwards. Then my beautiful Mom passed away on September 2nd----something that I'm still trying to learn how to cope with every day. And finally, my Jasper, my precious 21-year-old cat had to be put to sleep on September 30th. So....it's been one heck of a year, that's for sure.

I guess today I just wanted to pop my head in and say hello and sort of reconnect with you guys. I'm glad you're here and I'm looking forward to getting back into some gaming (Beyond Skyrim that is) soon.

Wow Tracy it seems like you deserve some good news to come around after all you have been through.

I'm sorry about all the family pain you have had but stop by here any time to get love from your Gameboomer family.

My prayers are going out for you and I'll bet Jasper and your Mom are upstairs watching out for you.

Oh dear, you have had a rough patch, Tracy. I'm sure things will start looking up and you can starting rebuilding that RL in a positive direction.

I agree with SQF... I'm sure Jasper is on your shoulder watching you play Skyrim and your mom is looking down too.

Tracy, life is definitely a rollercoaster. Sometimes the drops are faster and steeper than others but it still goes back up. With faith and a positive attitude this year will bring exciting new adventures for you. I wish you all the best.

Hi Tracy....Just doesn't seem fair sometimes, does it? I am sorry for all you have had to go through. I am glad you are close to your family, though as they can be such support...but so can GameBoomers!! Glad to see you here and I will pray for your continued courage and strength.

Hi Tracy, glad you are showing yourself in the diner. Lots of friends here. So sorry that your life is so chaotic. I've been there, I think we all have. I too was in the throes of a divorce when I lost BOTH my parents. Not a good time, but things do get better. I especially relied on friends here in GB and closer to home. It helped just to have a shoulder to cry on.

Things will get better. Honest. Dwell on the 'good' things and it will start. I will add my prayers for your 'recovery' and send some of what I like to call my 'psychic energy', to you for strength.

Drop by the diner more often. It's a good place to laugh and cry and find out what crazy things we are all going through.

Hi Tracy. So many people here with their support. Sometimes life throws so many things at you at once and it knocks you down but it also allows you to recover and grow stronger. I have no doubt that you will, it just will take sometime! Bless you.

I am sorry for all you have gone through. You have come to the right place to find love and support. Boomers are such loving and caring people and are always here for each other. We all have experienced difficult times and know how hard it is to go through. My love, thoughts and prayers are with you.
