Good morning y'all.

Had my semi-annual doctor visit. Will get results of blood test in a couple of days. Everything is good.

Tomorrow, I work at the library book sale then go see the eye doc in the afternoon. Sure hope the pressure is down.

A little cooler today with highs near 69. Beautiful day.

Have a great day everyone.

Re: Hump Day's - 04/23/14 07:27 PM

A good morn to all. Still keeping an eye on Rebel. He's still not feeling good. Gave him half a Rimadyl after talking to the vets office. They suggested maybe doing some bloodwork. Will see if the pain pill helps first.
May all have a good, good day.

Re: Hump Day's - 04/23/14 08:04 PM

Trippy, hope Rebel is feeling better soon.

Mom came for the Cully....I gave him lunch and he entertained himself before she came while I worked on prepping dinnner. Making Chicken Parmesan tonight...the actual cooking of the chicken sounds pretty simple, but there was a lot of prep. All done now so I get to sit and relax for a minute...happydance

TRippy, hope Rebel feels better quick. puppy

L4L, I am sending positive thoughts for Seagy. Are you giving him pills now for Chemo or does he still need to go to the doctor?

My head is pounding today. The weather changes are killing me. So hard to work when you would rather hide in a cave.

Re: Hump Day's - 04/23/14 08:47 PM

Ana, I'll give Seagy pills for the next 2 days...IF she has no adverse reaction, then next Thursday she will go to AU for chemo through an IV infusion. I wish my doc could do it, but apparently they have to have specialized areas with special ventilation to administer that one. IF she has no adverse reaction to that one, then she will go to AU every 3 weeks (though I think I'm gonna push for every 4)...but as you see, that is a lot of "ifs." IF she has another bad reaction, then we will just be done with chemo. We've just gotten her back to "normal," and I'd like to keep her there as long as possible. So lots of "ifs" and lot of prayers.

Karen, glad it's all quiet there now wave

Re: Hump Day's - 04/23/14 11:22 PM

Just got back from Lexington. Ran errands and ended with a haircut. Lexington is so small errands are a cinch and don't take long either. I shouldn't let my hair get so long but OK now -sportin' a nice summer cut, heat wave, here we come.

The first wave of wildflowers are gone and now the new ones are more colorfull. I used to know them all by heart..I should hit my field guides.

Pets are all fed and now sleeping, resting up for their night time prowls. It would be fun to follow them some night.

Happy Wed, what's left of it all

Re: Hump Day's - 04/24/14 12:07 AM

Afternoon, Space wave

Yankee, I bet it would be fun to follow them and see where they go. My summer hair do is the ever fashionable ponytail. Have to have it long enough to keep out of my face.

I love wildflowers...glad you have lots! wave

Re: Hump Day's - 04/24/14 01:07 AM

Thanks Karen; Rebel is 7&1/2. He's still just not himself, even staying away from the girls even though they want to play. Will call the Vet again in the a.m.
L4L, didn't know your dog was on chemo. I really hope he does well.

I have a lot of wildflowers to; most are dandelions and others have nice flowers but end up with very prickly, pokey seeds. Ouch.

Been a quiet day with wind and now more rain. Temp has been in the mid 50's for the past few days and with the wind makes it rather cold.

Re: Hump Day's - 04/24/14 02:05 AM

Trippy, I was the lawnmower when I was a kid. Used to drive my very neat dad nuts cos I'd mow around all the weeds with flowers. I hope Rebel is himself again soon.

I am going to go lay down and read. Body is talking to me. Sweet dreams ya'll sleep
