Anyway it's going to be a great day today. I know because it's going to be like 99% of 100 degrees today. penguin

That's a good thing because it means that the sun hasn't burned out yet. woot

Trying to keep a positive outlook here.

You know how 'they' always say you can't get more than 100%?

It seems like every time they forecast 99 degrees for this area, we have 110 degrees at my house.

That's 110%. duh

We won't get into a discussion about bookies and bankers. snicker

Have a happy day everyone.

Re: TGIF - 07/11/14 06:58 PM

Lazy and humid day here and I really must get serious about some home improvements now. A good start would be getting the cat scratching posts re-upholstered -the 2 of them. Why jump in deep when I can just get my feet a little bit wet. Are there any favorite cat colors I wonder. Probably the main thing is getting the proper covering like depth of pile and thickness -maybe google can help. Oh dear, so much to do. This is developing as overwhelming as redoing the bathroom. A quandry.

A while back I planted some wildflower seeds and they were starting but I think the grasshoppers got them. Must start over and bring the planter inside. I'd have a small garden if it weren't for them.

Everybody take good care of your pets and help the wild ones and happy Friday all

Re: TGIF - 07/11/14 07:12 PM

When given a choice of toys, my cats always chose the red ones. Dunno why. They would ignore blue, yellow, but the red always got them. Might try a nice bright red, Yankee.
