Re: Humpturday - 07/23/14 04:40 PM

Wonderful Wednesday ya'll puppy

Hubby and I popped up bright and early to walk the monkey ones. It was warm and humid, but not like yesterday. I could breathe today happydance So a great walk was had by all.

We got home, I got coffee, and noticed my last-night's pills sitting on the counter. Apparently I made 'em, then got distracted. Also started my coffee syrup but forgot to add water. I wonder what happened?

Anyway, so did a really stupid thing...whomped down last-night's pill on a totally empty stomach. Took about 10 minutes for me to start feeling uber-sick. Had to go lie down til my tummy settled enough to get up and make toast and take it to bed.

Then nibbled and sipped and finally was able to become upright again. happydance

Boys will be here momentarily.

Joe, any head hunting time slotted? Do you know where you are moving to?

Haroula, wave

RebKean rotfl

Gerry, how's life?

Connie, Biscuit bottoms are just the thing to make my day brighter. thanks You have exercise class today?

Gail, how is the summer going?

Manx, hope your day is whooppee!

Nan, we should share Abbi and the Boys (sounds like a band).

Happy Skooshing, Darlene.

Re: Humpturday - 07/23/14 05:01 PM

Looney, you laughing at me? (robert deniro-voice)
Oh, I see, the first post? Yes indeed, it's the best time to
snoop I Think, when no one else is around, hehe.
And if you laughing at the wine-thing, don't. I never joke about alkohol! ;-)

Jeez it's so warm in Sweden, I kid you not. But i guess you're all used to that
over there? Don't even know how to translate the degrees, but it's really humid. =(

Re: Humpturday - 07/23/14 08:29 PM

Reb, yep, laughing at the sneaking, though I did have a brief vision of coffee flavored wine..puppy

Alabama (where I live) is horribly humid too, so I feel your pain.
Posted By: RebKean

Re: Humpturday - 07/23/14 09:05 PM

Well, your pain might be worse, but when I was a child the best summertemp was
71,60 degrees farenheit (if I'm to trust the converter) at the max.
Now its about 86 degrees. It's not as much as you lot have i assume,
but it has increased here pretty quickly it seems and I don't like it.

Well, I didn't sneak Looney. =) Too tired, haha.
Coffee-flavoured wine, sound nice. =)
Or not....

Good afternoon boomies! I've been working, then went to the doctor and came home and lost my internet. rotfl Par for the course!

I'm still sidelined from the gym while awaiting MRI and an orthopedic/spinal consult. I just want to be back to my old feisty beast mode self. lol

Re: Humpturday - 07/23/14 09:51 PM

Just a question.
If I want to write about a game I'm planning/working on,
is the right Place in the Adventure game discussion?

Imean it's not an announcement, but I'm thinking if I would
like to talk about ideas or get other input or something else,
I would like to put it in the right Place.
(god, It's annoying when some of my letters get capitalized (if that's a Word?) )

Re: Humpturday - 07/23/14 10:34 PM

Yes RebKean, that would be Adventure Game Discussions.

Re: Humpturday - 07/23/14 10:42 PM

Busy, busy day because it's too hot for housework or assaulting Killzone 4 I took Bruno (car) to the shop for oil change and his physical and , Oh Dear, it's been all day and no call. Either good or bad sign, hope it's the former. Maybe tmorrow I'll pick it up.

Hey, all to convert centigrade to farenheit: 9/5 C + 32 = F or roughly double C and add 30 and that is F. For F to C just do it backwards. And that's your summer school lesson for today.

The land here is starting to dry out and the drought is king. It's been about 12 years of drought now and the lakes are quite low and everybody flocking to Austin for work makes things worse. Years ago Austin wanted to tap our aquafer but no-go.

Re: Humpturday - 07/23/14 10:55 PM

I'm so late to the diner! Any good food left? Starving.

Got a call from the Squatter Gal. I'll put the news in Sorta's Neighborhood thread.

STILL no peacock. Missing her.

Got my new color better (the others were 30 years old) security cameras all in place. Great views of my car in the common driveway and the neighbors houses and stuff AND the second camera is now looking through my back gate onto the deck where I can now keep track of all the critters. Awesome. Gotta watch tonight for possums, raccoons, maybe Penelope but always the cats. Probably will see that hawk sitting in the tree. It's angled perfectly to see the low branch he sits on. Oh boy.

I know one thing Yankee, 16 celcius is 61 farenheit. =)
Easy peasy. Doesn't help for ****, but still interesting! =)

Re: Humpturday - 07/23/14 11:09 PM

Hi, Sorta, I bet they took Penelope when they moved. Do you know where they moved to? We all have our story and especially the animals. Of course you miss her.

Re: Humpturday - 07/23/14 11:23 PM

No idea where the came from or where they went to, but had a huge Penske truck for 2 nights and left one in the truck and one in a car behind. Would be fun to see where they went. Hope they were the drug dealers. Maybe things would be safer. All sorts of people always here and there buying and selling. All young, healthy looking, nice guys. So weird.
