Prayers needed

Prayers needed for my cousin Steve Haugen
he was T-boned in his car on the way home
from work at Boeing~ the guy hit him going 60mph
he has a broken shoulder, 10 broken ribs, both lungs punctured, torn spleen, torn stomach, head injuries, they took him into surgery tonight
waiting to hear how he comes out , they air lifter him to the trauma center in Seattle~



also need Prayers For Shay's Family she passed away pm yesterday the 3rd Victim of the Marysville shooting its the town right next to mine where my sister lives` my nephew went to that school` its such a senseless tragedy
there's 2 boys alive still one is gonna be OK they other one is still critical

Just wanted to thank everyone for the support that everyone has shown for Steve...it is amazing and a little overwelming.. i appreciate the words and prayers, I just can't respond to them all BUT I have been sharing with Steve..

What happen / update of Steve:
Leaving work on friday Steve was T boned by a F350 crew dulley truck..thankfully my man is strong and likes big cars ( plus the Great One angel was watching over him)
I have heard multi people say he is lucky to be alive..
He received multiple injuries.. he was taken to
Harborview and was taken right to surgery..
Concussion, 10 broken ribs, stomach pushed under his chest, collapse lung, Ruptured diaphragm horrible shoulder injury .. just to name a few.. he recognized me and the boys but continually asked what happen..he was in a FOG..
His mind has returned which is a blessing but now he understands the situation. . He has a rough road ahead..
He sat in a chair by himself last night for 30 minutes which was HUGE!! They transferred him from trauma intensive care unit last night..
One step forward, 4 steps back..
Biggest issue has been pain..they just can't control it..
Sadly we just received word that he needs surgery again..the stomach repair did not work.. surgery will happen today..

His lungs asperated while he was in surgery today~
haven't heard how he's doing~ he is one tough cookie all us Haugen's are STRONG Norsky blood!!

UPDATE~

Steve got off the ventilater yesterday and today they took out his 3 chest tubes

he gets moved to a normal hospital room in the morning

he's getting better slowly but surely
