Been watching Hercule Poirot and Jane Marple, the one with Joan Hickson. Although they mostly do a good job with them. They made one glaring mistake in "At Bertams Hotel". The episode begins with the sound of a jet plane and then they actually show one. Miss Marple would not have flown on a jet airliner since they didn't exist in the 1940s. First jet airliner was in 1957.
I was going to comment on "Cards on the Table" but decided against it. You can see comments at Internet Movie Database for what they did to that story. I'll just say it takes a lot of nerve to think you can improve on the best selling mystery writer of all time.
