TGIF - 06/19/15 06:15 AM

Like all parents, my husband and I just do the best we can, and hold our breath, and hope we’ve set aside enough money to pay for our kids’ therapy.

Re: TGIF - 06/19/15 03:38 PM

Fantastic Friday ya'll puppy

Daughter, kids, dogs, and I headed out at 6:30 to the park. Thought it would be easier on Annie, as the folks who had her were not walking her. It did seem easier than the hills but it was sooooooooooo much hotter as the park is not shady at all! We made it through though.

Home to cook breakfast for everyone. Kitchen cleaned, dogs fed (well, Seagy didn't eat sad ) Kids and daughter have gone out to get craft stuff for Father's Day.

I'm finally sitting and sipping and am exhausted. Must be something in the air.

Joe, it's called a hobby! Have fun if you get to go.

Haroula, wave

Gerry, gallons of coffee gratefully accepted. Thanks.

Connie, busy weekend planned?

Midgy, hope work is fun!

Gail, hope you have a great day. Are the girls enjoying their vacation?

Happy Skooshing, Darlene wave

Re: TGIF - 06/19/15 04:23 PM

Humid here, muggy, not exactly hot but just uncomfy for those of us who love the dry weather. Actually had FOG last night. Wow.

Still waiting for 'something' to happen over at the Squatter's House. Not as much action as usual but stay tuned, I'm sure something BIG will be happing soon.

Found out one of my little 'hand planted' trees down back by the tenant's is dead dead dead. It looked a bit leafless, but yesterday I broke off a few branches and it's gone I think. I'm going down again today to see if any of the inner parts are still viable. Lack of rain, tenant never waters anything (my bachelor friend) and the poor tree/bush that was planted to be a barrier to cars (not to fall off a drop) and to the signtline of neighbors is gonna have to be cut down. Darn. Gotta make sure the remaining two get some water today. Landlording has it's not so happy moments.

I went to Walmart, and I've got lots of other things to do today here inside. yes

I'd better get cracking.

Re: TGIF - 06/19/15 07:00 PM

Hi everyone.

Gonna quit raining here sometime today. We got over 3 inches since last night. Dogs don't like going out.

I am waiting for the results of the biopsy to come in. Probably won't hear till next week. Have to go back to the dermatologist next Thursday. Shot he gave me helped. Hands aren't swollen as much. Some sores on my fingers are slowly healing. Sure takes a long time. Be glad when I find out just what it is I have. Wait, wait, wait. That seems like all I do.

Going to a wedding tomorrow. One of my former students. Went to her older sisters wedding last year.

Well, I guess I need to help Bill clean up water in the basement. With all the rain we had, the basement leaked.

Have a good day everyone.

Bets, glad there is improvement, if only a bit. I hope once the results are in they are able to help a lot and quickly! wave
