Super Sunday and Happy Father's Day

We popped up and took the whole gang walking. Got Loki to walk with the crew. He doesn't know "heel" but did a good job trying to learn it. It was hot hot hot and when we got back he collapsed around the water bowl. He and Skywalker want to play but neither one of them really know how. You should see my den, looks like it has snowed and Loki is a white dog and when stressed dogs shed

But they are doing better. It will just take some time to get them all used to who can do what to whom. Meanwhile, we are all trying to be relaxed but watchful.

Showered and cooked breakfast and am finally sitting down to sip and surf.

I think today will be dog sitting and watching the US Open Golf tournament. Not a bad day.

Both Mother's day and Father's day are hard for me personally. I miss them so much, and wish I could turn back time. My thoughts are with others who have experienced a loss. I like to think they're still with me in spirit. Remembering all dads who aren't able to physically be with us today.

I took the dogs swimming and for a run, rode my bike, now I'm going on the deck to read for an hour until my niece and grandson come over. Then we will go for a walk at the lake and head out with the daddies for dinner. Hopefully, I'll have time for a sunset bike ride later. All in all, a great day!

It will a week of storms again, so I am thankful today is lovely!

Hello everybody.

I've been home long enough to eat a couple of tuna sandwiches, and then take Baby for a walk.

It's been a wet day here. They said we had a 50 or 60 percent chance of rain over night, but when I got up we hadn't had any rain and I thought it was going all going East of here. I was wrong. As soon as it got East of us it started backing up and we go dumped on all day to the tune of about 5 or 6 inches.

I'm really hoping it's on the cooler side Wednesday morning when I go to the jungle....swamp....CREEK!!

I've got two more work days first, and I'm really hoping it dries up. No more rain!!

Supposed to be in the low 90s and sunny the next 4 or 5 days.

I'd like a cool down here too. I always laugh at the official start of summer..it's been summer here for months!

Dinner is all cooked and waiting on the guys to finish this episode of The Following. Not my kind of show, but they are all enjoying it. I'm trying hard to ignore it...thus the cooking and the nap

We had so much rain they closed the bridge across the lake, so falks who live on the other side have to go a long way around to get to Durant.

Today they closed the bridge across the river to Texas.

Until this last month I've never seen them do either one of those.

I hope you are safe Joe. We had a lot of rain today but not as much as you though. Hi L4L. I'm not a fan of The Following but I'm hooked on The Game of Thrones. It has aired it's last episode for the season. Now I have to wait for how long to see the new season. Time to start reading the books.
