It has been a month of Sundays since I had a 5:00 start to my work day, and I was already late when I got home.

Happy Friday all! Yesterday was a long day. Found out I broke my ankle a couple weeks ago and have been running around on it. So spent the day going from the doctors, to the hospital for xrays and then to the Orthopedic Surgeons office. Not what I planned. Good news is it's healing well on its own and I don't need surgery or a cast. I am back to Physical therapy though. Seems like a pattern I'd like to not have anymore.

I'm sleepy, so I'll see you all in the morning! Have a happy day!

Joe you always start my day laughing! Spent the whole day yesterday getting a blood transfusion. Feel a little better. Today I go see the doctor to find out why these transfusions are necessary. Just had one last month. Hope it's not cancer. Today I'm going shopping finally. Then I have physical therapy. It looks to be a bright day out there and not too cold. Looking forward to Connie's blueberry pancakes or maybe a muffin.

They called and canceled Robert's shot. Now he has to wait until Weds, the Dr. called in sick. They can't renew his pain meds because the Dr. isn't there. He is not a happy camper.

So very happy to share news that my friend, who underwent brain surgery this week for a brain tumor, had a very successful surgery and is on the path to healing! Thank you, sweet 'Boomies, for all your prayers!

SpaceQ, I'm a bit of a stubborn woman. I learned at a very early age to do mind over matter when I'm in pain. My dad wouldn't hear any complaints, no matter what happened to you. I just finally decided to get it checked out because it kept me up the other night after hubby and I went hiking at Starved Rock. This too shall pass!

Sorta, I broke the actual bone, the bottom of the bone that sticks out. It isn't weight bearing so you can walk on it, it just hurts.

Woke up this cool Friday morning to discover my kitchen frig/freezer was not working. Everything in the 'frig side was sitting at 60 degrees, so had to dump it all. I had been thinking I needed to clean it out, but this was not the way I wanted to do it.

Anyway, have called a couple of repair folks, but no one has called back.

Then talked to daughter and she reminded me that it was Tax Day, so tossed clothes on, wrote a check, headed to the post office.

Also ran and picked up my glasses. Now home waiting on the boys to come, so no walking for us.
