RIP the King

Arnie Palmer the king is dead at 87. Palmer was instrumental in changing golf into a TV sport. He and his army were a joy to watch. I remember as a youngster in the early sixties staying up late to watch him play golf. Thanks Arnie and Rest in Peace.

I remember him well ands he was a class act. I was very sad to hear of his passing.

Jack Nicklaus is from my home town and was Arnold's biggest rival. Jack said yesterday that Arnold was his best friend. I think when you hear words like that from a rival you can see what a great man Arnie was. RIP Mr. Palmer.

Arnie Palmer was a respected athlete. Everyone knew who he was when I was growing up. Sad news.

Oh I can still remember the matches between them both!
