I may not have a lot to say today. I'm focused on a show about Mars, and having trouble concentrating on this.


So it's pretty much the same thing as yesterday, and the day before, and.........


It's deja vu' all over again.


Then there's that other problem.


I took my sleeping pill an hour ago.


I can do many things without conscious thought, but enjoying a TV program is not one of those things.


I get through most of my day without conscious thought anyway. I'm looking at my computer screen.

Bumper Stickers! Loved them Joe! But you forgot my favorite one. After my second divorce my 13 year old car went kaput (HE was driving a brand new car/truck every year as my old faithful fell apart), so I had to get a new one soon after we split. It was hard finding money to survive, BUT when I got the car, I made my own bumper sticker that said: "My Alimony Payments". I got lots of laughs and second looks and a ton of 'thumbs up' as I drove. Made me feel oh so much better. I took a picture of the new car with the bumper sticker and sent it to my now ex-step daughter (who still keeps in touch) and she sent it to her dad. Ha! I can only imagine how loudly he screamed. Yup. Total joy on my part. It was a case of Don't Get Mad, Get Even!

Off to tend to the 3 little kittens. They are growing nicely. Even the runt, Shadow, is catching up in size with her brother, Tippy. Still, at 12 weeks old, each one only weighs about 1 to 1 1/2 lbs and are too small for flea drops or spay/neuter. Darn. Mom is tiny. I can't grab her so no real weighing but I think she looks about 4 lbs tops. I'm hoping to get them all 'fixed' before the end of the year. I'm hopeful that this batch will survive all the perils of an Outdoorsie. So far, they have managed to make 'peace' with Penelope the Peacock and aren't panic running when they see her. They even sometimes stay on the feeding table eating next to her. That's IF she doesn't start pecking at them. It's going well. Even Shadow, the lone female, is staying closer to me at feeding time and I'm touching her bit by bit. Such a long routine of taming a feral litter from a feral mom. I'm still hoping that I can find homes for them. I'm asking everyone I know and have some 'interest'.

Wow, today seems to be a bit slow, both for my self and my puter. Type a letter and wait 30 seconds to see it on screen

off to prop up my foot after doing laundry. it's been swollen for 2 weeks ,

but is looking fairly normal today. and don't ask me why it's swollen

I guess it's time to say good night all. It's been a very busy day. I found out today that my grand daughter is very sick. I'm hoping the trip to the doctor has helped Jen feel a little better about Emily. She's such a love. Asking for a few good thoughts for her. You guys are so awesome with sending a little help.
