I'm not sure how old he was, but my sister had her dog Mac for several years. A couple days ago he was behaving like his normal playful self than without warning he just dropped dead. She's devastated. There was no indication he was ill, he just stopped in his tracks. fell to the ground not breathing.
So sorry for your families loss. It is never easy to say goodbye to our furry friends.

Oh, Guybrush, I'm so sorry. Such a hard thing. I know she misses him terribly. Give her a gentle hug from me.
So sorry for your sister and the loss of Max.
My neighbor had a cat that died just like that. No warning, just fell over and was gone in mid step. We figured it might have been a heart attack (if animals get them?).
One more for the Rainbow Bridge.

Sorry to hear this Guybrush. Losing pets is so hard.
Guybrush so sorry for your sister and her loss of Mac. My heart goes out to her.
Right now she says she's not looking for another dog, she still has 2 cats, but I wont be shocked if either a puppy or an older dog in need of a new home shows up at my sister's house.

It's better to wait until the time feels right. You can't replace a loved one, but at some time you can get a different loved one.
