I have many fond memories of watching Gomer Pyle. He could sure make me laugh and I enjoyed hearing him sing, such a beautiful voice.

I saw him perform in Hawaii in the late 70's. He was so talented and a genuinely kind person. RIP

Great actor! Andy Griffith Show and Gomer Pyle USMC ... one of the few honorary Marines!

Sad news. He was such fun to watch on the Andy Griffith Show . He did have a beautiful singing voice too.

I always anticipated him singing at the Indy 500 race start. "Back Home Again in Indiana" was a favorite of mine and he did it justice.
