This week is clipping right along.


I had to go make a considerable deposit at Walmart today. That oughta get me through the next week...............at most.


It was an unbelievably gorgeous day though. We got up in the upper 60s.


We are going to be 73 degrees Thursday, and 80 on Friday.


We don't drop below 67 for the high temp for the rest of the month.....and I doubt any at all before next October.


I may try and go to the sod farm again about Saturday, although I don't know why. Without some rain there won't be much hope of finding anything, but then you never know.


Nothing to lose, and nowhere else to go. It's either that, or stay home and do more long term planning.

It's Wednesday night, and I'm off to sleep. I have 6 stores to go to tomorrow, but none of the projects are immense, so it shouldn't last as long as a 6 store day normally would.

Yes Ana we are enjoying a full house...had a steak grill out last night capped with chocolate cake. We still have a grandson running a fever ... so keeping an eye on him

Wheeeee! Rain and a bit of wind last night. Gone this morning, but promising cloudy skies so maybe we get a bit more. Lovely to hear the wind and rain when you are snug in bed. Love it. I need more to make those annoying 'stinging nettle' plants grow big and tall. I can't pull them out now because they are so tiny.

Last year's project was to pluck each and every one from my side yard and bag them so the seeds wouldn't regrow. But there are 3 places that just popped up with last week's rain and I've got to attack them again. 2 years is a row and they should all be gone gone gone. Hard to walk through the grass when those stingers get your bare skin and really bad on the hands. All you have to do is brush by one and it stings for hours.

Rid my property of Castor Bean plants, then Tumbleweeds, and now it's the Stinging Nettles. I'm on a crusade!

Full house is fun. Leo is a cute. Perrin is sick again so we are trying to keep him away from the baby.

Weather is getting nicer outside.

Off to make potato salad for tonight.
