My password here on Gameboomers forums...

I have a booklet with my password information etc. for game sites and game stores on line. I use it constantly for reference to my online information such as passwords etc. However for some reason under my Gameboomer information I have my username for the forums but did not write down what I use for my password here. I went to my profile page and tried to change my password there so I could write it down and make sure I have the correct information to get on the forums here. However it wouldn't change my password for me. Can anyone tell me why I can't make this change or how to do this.
Thank you for your help. Needless to say I feel somewhat embarrassed to even have to ask this question. I am logged in right now as I don't normally log out as I am here all the time.

Hi Linda,

Go to My Place at top of the page. Then "edit Profile".
Enter the password you want twice - on 2 lines there.
Then scroll to bottom of page and click the "submit" button.

Then when you login with the new password, be sure to tick on the "remember" box before log in in.

I have tried that but it doesn't want to change it...

Clear you temporary internet files and your cookies.

The temporary internet files are cleared in your computer.

Go to My Place again, on the drop down menu - go to cookies.
Expire your cookies by clicking on the button.

Then log back in and see.
