Where are saved game files for A New beginning?

I have a saved game that was sent to me by game dev. but I can't find the saved game file folder to put it in. Am playing on WINXP.
Have looked in my documents, the game files, and GOG files. Not there.
Can anyone help?

I don't really have time to install it and check it until tomorrow, but have you looked in subfolders of My Documents for the name of the publisher and the developer?

In XP - The saved game folder is at:
C:\Documents and Settings\your computer's name\Local Settings\Application Data\Daedalic Entertainment\A New Beginning\Savegames

I could never have found that folder myself-GOG and Daedalic also responded and suggestion was made to enable "hidden files" to be accessed, which I did.
Happy to be able to continue the game!
