crime stories video game

do i need a patch for this game, because i am having a hard time with the black mirror patch.

I didn't recognize the name ***Crime Stories*** at first, but I looked it up and it's the same game as Martin Mystere.

No, you shouldn't need a NoCD patch for it or any other kind of patch. However the game can be a little buggy on some computers. In my case, there were a couple of areas where it kicked me to the desktop, though most of the game was stable. Just remember to save regularly, just in case. I thought the game was fun overall, and it let me examine almost every object on screen in closeup.

I haven't seen that particular NoCD with the "patch.ppf-o-mati" before. I think "patch.ppf-o-mati" must be a new thing. I found instructions for using a patch.ppf-o-mati file here

I just downloaded the NoCD patch, and they have changed it from the last time I downloaded it. Maybe they think it's easier this way, but they should have included a file with instructions.

Going by the instructions I found, you'd first have to make an .iso file of the Black Mirror CD before.

I can try emailing you my old patch. Then you could use Traveller's instructions.

You're right about that -- It certainly was confusing. I don't know why they changed it.

i do i replace the exe ago, but everytime i click on it i get a black screen like crime storie video game.

You need to copy the other files over too. Not just the agds.exe, but also the data.adb, majer.chr, mejerk.chr, and majerk.chr files.
