Software Mouse Pointer

I currently have Lost Chronicles of Zerzura installed and noticed in the "settings" options a facility called Software Mouse Pointer.

What is it ?? And do I need to utilise it ??

I can only guess. Maybe they offer you "software mouse pointer" because the regular "hardware mouse pointer" flickers on some computers.

Doesn't sound as though it's anything vital then - if you've never heard of it !!
