World's First Web Site - 05/01/13 02:23 PM
Twenty years ago in April 1993, the world's first web site was made available for free. An interesting look at how far (or sometimes not) the web has evolved.

I started exploring the Internet around 1999. A lot of changes. I still remember that Hamster Dance site. Not sure how I ran across that one!

Same here, lanlynk. I worked on computers in the late 1980's and early 1990's, but no internet.

I got the internet in 1991 and I thought there were websites then. I was using the Amiga at the time which had the AMosaic browser (a port of Mosaic). I've just checked on Wiki and that wasnt developed until 1993. Funny how the mind plays tricks.
