Darkness Within 2

I bought this game over a year ago and I have just begun to play it. It looks rathering interesting but I am having some issues.
Like, In the Old Building where the papers are torn...mine are black, everything in the building, the books, the dead body the grave stone...it's all black.
Can anyone please help me out with fixing this problem.

Until someone else comes along who is more knowledgeable than I am, I will ask whether or not you have installed the patch for this game? The patch can be found here. It wouldn't hurt to try that first. If that doesn't help, it may be a video driver issue, but we can wait for the advice of the techies here.

I am having the same problem.I downloaded the patch and redownloaded the patch you suggested but it says the game is not installed when it is!Can anyone send a save game after the floor panel is solved.As of now all i can see is blurred tumblers so i cannot solve the puzzle!
