Hi dianne, I've moved your post over to Glitches. Hopefully someone will be able to help you get your game downloaded, installed, and running. wave

There's more than one "official" web site to purchase from.
Did you get it from Phoenix Online
http://store.postudios.com/products/face-noir

or from AdventureShop
http://us-adventureshop.gamesplanet.com/buy-download-pc-games/Face-Noir-3921-46.html

or from somewhere else?

The download procedure may vary depending on where the game was bought. AdventureShop usually sends you an email with download links, and may also forward you to a page with a download link (or links) when you buy it. I'm not sure what the Phoenix Online shop does, though it's probably similar.

Yes Jenny100 you are right, the procedure is the same as AS, I bought the game the same place as Dianne and I received an Email from them, on the Email there is a live link which directs you to the place where you can download the game.
Hope this helps you Dianne.

PS: If you didn't get this Email, check your Spam folder, if not, then contact Phoenix.

Hi Dianne,
I also purchased the download of this game from Phoenix Online. Believe me that you DID get an e-mail from them which includes the link to download the game. In the SUBJECT of the e-mail you will see "no-reply@digitaide------, and then some numbers. When you open the e-mail you will see a link which you can copy and paste into your browser. I also bought the "Cognition" series from P O, using the same method. I hope this helps you.

Re: face noir - 08/04/13 04:02 AM

dianne,

Are you saying you've already downloaded it but you can't find the game file on your computer?

I believe the Adventure Co. allows you to download a game several times and after that, you have to contact them to be able to do it again.
Anyway, I seem to recall that being the case.

This company can't be any different.
Don't give up!

If necessary, tell them you lost the email. They are bound to have a record of your buying it.

The Phoenix Online Store, where Dianne bought the game from, allows 10 downloads and I believe more if you ask. At least that is what they allowed me.

If you have in fact downloaded the file then it is in your computer. You can do a search to see. It would be under the file name "facenoirsetup.exe".

In the event you search your computer and don't find it then you can go to the Postudios store and log in with the username and password that you used when you purchased the game. That will show you the status of your order.

Postudios allows several downloads so that would not be a problem.

If none of this answers your question then you could post at The Phoenix Online Store forum they are pretty good at replying and answering all questions.

I had a problem with getting my cognition episodes after a computer crash and they sent me a link to download all the episodes.

There are also a couple of members on gameboomers that are from Phoenix and if they could be reached they could probably connect you to either the right site of the right person to solve the problem.

Good luck

EDIT: I just found the email address I used to Phoenix Support. It wouldn't hurt to send them an email as well. support@postudios.com

Dianne,
The people at support@poststudios are very accomodating. I'm sure that if you contact them, they will make sure that you can download your purchased game. Good luck.

Unless you changed the location of the download, the file is probably in your Downloads folder:
