Memoria

I purchased the Memoria download from Gamersgate but when I try to download the setup file Norton removes it saying it carries the Trojan virus "SONAR.Heuristic.110".

As it was described as a Trojan virus, I went looking on-line and Symantec says :

Discovered: August 26, 2013 Updated: August 29, 2013 10:49:06 AMType: Trojan, VirusInfection Length: VariesSystems Affected: Windows 2000, Windows 7, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista, Windows XP

But I've not seen any posts about it from players at Gameboomers

You can ignore that one Mad, it's a false positive.

The word "Heuristic" is a clue that it might be a false positive. The installer is doing something a virus might also do (which is install itself after downloading).

Heuristic means behavioral. You can read more about the heuristic analysis that modern antivirus use at
