Myst online - Uru Live

Its a while since I visited Uru but they won't let me in!! I am not sure I remember my user name or my password, I have tried what I had noted but no luck, there is no 'password reminder' button and they won't let me create a new account because I am using the same e mail address, anybody any ideas?? 'cos I really would like to wonder around again and complete some of the tasks I didn't last time, I am sure there is somewhere I can go to for reminders but I cannot find it, and I just know some one on Gameboomers must know.

Hi, I moved your post over to Glitches - someone here should be able to help you.

monbron.. if you get to the login page your user name should be on the list to the left.. there is a column with squares.. one should have your user name just make sure it is highlighted. I looked at the uru on line forum page and it says this:
Don’t panic! While your password cannot be retrieved, it can easily be reset. Visit the login page and click I’ve forgotten my password. Follow the instructions and you should be able to log in again shortly.

May seem like a dumb question, but best to get the obvious one out of the way first ...
You are trying to log in using your email address aren't you and not your avatar name?

But assuming that you are using the email address, then getting rejected would suggest that your password is wrong, in which case you can reset your password here: http://account.mystonline.com/accounts/reset.php (you do need to have access to the email address you use for login though, to get the validation emails).

Winfrey - Oh yes !! it was not a dumb question I WAS trying to use my avatar........... I finally went into the Myst Website and found where to reset my password, and when it asked me for my name in brackets e mail address I had a eureka moment and realise what I was doing wrong. And voila after 2 hours uploading updates I am back in.

Good to hear. I go in every once and awhile...just to look around. I postedat the forum because I will be getting my new win 8.1 computer soon and I wanted to make sure I couldl play.

Yes I have win8 on my laptop and I am learning all about apps - great what you can get and do!!

You might want to wait for a demo before buying to see how well it plays.
