Book Of Unwritten Tales: Critter Chronicles Chapter One

Hi. I bought the Book Of Unwritten Tales Critter Chronicles from steam. I started playing it. No problems playing it until I tried to light the cigar(which is attached to the hose)on the furnace in the Captain's cabin, the game freezes. When I press the windows button on the keyboard to get back to the desktop there is no error message except for: Critter Chronicles.exe has stopped working Windows7 is trying to find a solution.

Is there a way around it? I have tried doing different things in different order to see if that has made a difference but it doesn't.

While waiting for the tech experts to help you, try playing with the video settings. That might help.

Thank you that worked. But the weird thing is that I see no difference in graphic quality when I turned it all down
