I have a separate video card.. Nvidia... I am getting a Intel corp. Graphics Adapter WDDM1.1 update in my windows update folder... do I need to do this?

If your computer is working correctly, driver updates are optional.
If you have a desktop with a separate Nvidia card, the update probably won't change anything.
If you have a laptop with Optimus graphics, the update might affect your graphics.
I never get driver updates through Windows update.
If I want the update, I go to the manufacturer website.
