Dark Fall Lost Souls Darkfall 3

I purchased this game from G.O.G. and downloaded it this a.m. When I launch the game I do get a screen asking me if I want to start a new game or load etc. After that I can't get the game to run properly. I only see a black screen but do have sound. I am using windows 7. On the G.O.G. site it stated
the game runs in Windows 7....any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'm wondering if your problem is possibly related to what was explained in this thread.

Let us know what you're running the game on -

Click the Start Orb, and enter DXDiag in "Search Programs and Files". Press enter and post the information on the System and Display tabs.

The link I posted previously in this thread was saying basically the same thing as the folks on Steam - I wondered if perhaps that was the problem.

Yeah, once I read the Steam thread, a little light went off - Her system is more than capable of running the game.

Maybe it depends on whether Linda is seeing only a black screen or whether she also sees cursor, cellphone, and some inventory. I don't remember if there is an intro video with a black screen before you take control.
